Project description: The University of Washington needed a series of illustrations and animations depicting their Husky mascot in several roles in the Medical school. Physician, Patient Care, Researcher, and Educator.

A series of simple illustrations of little houses and businesses around Seattle.

A series of spooky haunted state/skulls for a Halloween project.

Who has the best candy on Halloween? It must be that spooky old place on top of the mountain. Let’s check it out!

Client: UW Medicine Magazine

The art director asked me to illustrate platelets running an obstacle course. The accompanying article is about a quick way to test a patient’s blood clotting capability.

Concept art for a Children’s book about a topiary dinosaur who lives at a garden nursery and comes to life at night.

For this campaign, I created a suite of illustrations for a Washington county school district to communicate the growth challenges they’re facing. This project included a set of icons, a map of the district, and two infographics about an upcoming bond vote.

I love to hide personal references in my illustrations. In this example, I’ve used some left-handers and dog fans!

I also featured the 2019 Pantone color of the year in my palette - Coral.

Here’s an actual email quote from my happy client: “Map LOOKS AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! love it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!”

I have drawn maps of some of my favorite places. The map of Iceland is the only one I haven’t visited yet. What’s your favorite place? Let me map it out for you.

As a follow-up project, the client requested a set of illustrations to be used as coloring pages for kids. I made a line drawing of each mural, simplifying the overall image into sections that can be colored in. (see sample )

This is Fiona, the French Bulldog. Her feet don't reach the pedals. But, that doesn't mean she can't give it her all. She was the hardest working dog in the room that day. And I think she ended up raising the most money too. That'll do, Fiona.
